Now Hiring - Fitness Sales Manager in Portland, ME

Club Pilates West Bayside (Portland, ME) is looking to hire a Full-Time Sales Manager to help open our first Club Pilates studio location in Maine!

The candidate must be available to work the following shifts:

1.) Mon - Fri: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m

2.) Rotating Weekend Mornings 8am-2pm (Typically 1-2 weekend days per month, scheduled in advance)

Sales/Retail experience encouraged to apply

High school diploma or equivalent required

Authorization to work in the United States required

Club Pilates is the national leader in group reformer pilates classes with more than 1,000 franchise locations in the United States and internationally. We are currently building our team for the West Bayside (Portland, ME) location and we are seeking a qualified Sales Manager who is focused on driving membership sales before the studio opens and providing excellent service to our members upon opening.

Prior to opening, the Fitness Sales Manager's main responsibility is driving membership sales. The right candidate will have strong people skills, both talking on the phone and writing professional text messages and emails. We are looking for an energetic, motivated leader who is good at multi-tasking and can juggle daily tasks, while interacting with clients to create a supportive and meaningful community.

This job is a mix of office work, operational tasks and member connection. The ideal candidate is looking for a non-traditional work setting, focused around positivity, health and wellness.

Job Duties:

Sell memberships online and over the phone prior to opening

Lead new clients through on-boarding process with waiver and introduction

Respond to telephone and email inquiries

Maintain accurate records using established sales system

Help clients determine which package best fits their needs

Process accurate cash and credit card transactions

Follow up & follow through activities with prospective clients

Input inventory for retail clothing and other items

Assist members with downloading and using the Club Pilates app

Take pictures for social media platforms

Greet clients as they enter with 1-on-1 personal interaction

Clean retail area, studio, and restrooms

Job Qualifications:

Previous retail, sales or fitness experience is preferred

Proven sales skills

Solid verbal and written communication skills

Functional computer skills

Excellent customer service skills
